Export
Recipe and Shopping List data can be exported in a number of formats. This feature allows you to create documents, build HTML pages and put recipes and shopping lists on your Pocket PC or iPod®.
eChef supports the following exports:
- RTF: RTF (Rich Text Format) is a free, cross-platform format for word processing documents, which can be opened by programs such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Works. You may wish to export selected recipes to a document to format them for printing. A Shopping List can also be exported to an RTF. To export to RTF, select the desired recipes or view the desired Shopping List and click File > Export > To RTF.
- HTML: To export to HTML, select the desired recipes or view the desired Shopping List and click File > Export > To HTML.
- iPod: To export to an iPod, you must first have your iPod connected to your PC. Then, click File > Export > To iPod. Next, browse to your iPod (select "My Computer" and look for the name of your iPod). After selecting your iPod, save files in the “Notes” folder. To see your files on your iPod, go into Extras > Notes.
- Outlook® Note: To export to an Outlook Note, select the desired recipes or view the desired Shopping List and click File > Export > To Outlook Note. These Notes will then be included when synchronizing your Pocket PC.
